About



Mikayla Minkyung Seo is an independent curator and critic specialising in the fields of design and craft. She studied Industrial Design at Konkuk University (Seoul) and earned an MA in Curating Contemporary Design from Kingston University (London). She holds a Ph.D. with a thesis on design auteurism. After working at the Korea Craft and Design Foundation and serving as an editor for <Monthly DESIGN> magazine, she is currently a lecturer at Konkuk University and runs ‘Text Studio’.


서민경은 디자인과 공예 영역에 걸쳐 글을 쓰고 전시를 기획한다. 건국대학교와 영국 킹스턴 대학교에서 산업 디자인과 큐레이팅 컨템퍼러리 디자인을 공부했고, 작가주의 디자인에 관한 연구로 박사 학위를 받았다. 한국공예디자인문화진흥원을 거쳐 월간 <디자인>에서 에디터로 일했으며,현재는 건국대학교에서 겸임 교수로 학생들을 가르치며 텍스트 공방을 운영하고 있다.
